I'm going to pull the trigger on a larger cast iron set up (7-10 gallon). This is what I want to get:

Does anyone know of a place closer to Shreveport that sells this?

Thx in advance.

watch the differance between an imported pot and American made.

The American have a much smoother interior, but you will pay more..

Nothing wrong with the imports, just thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for the advice.

This is one of the reasons I want to purchase something local, instead of sight unseen online.

i don't believe you can purchase a "new" pot made
in the states. i was told no demand for castings. Most will be from china unless you can get your hands on an "old" pot.

Iv'e been told the same thing but I know Vernon's Hardward here in town sells what they call American Made and Imported and they are both new.

Not sure where they get them, but you can definatly see the differance in quality and of course the price.
