LSU and Florida will play under the lights in a Southeastern Conference prime time showdown next week, the league announced Monday.
The No. 4-ranked Tigers (4-0, 2-0 SEC) and top-ranked, reigning national champion Gators (4-0, 2-0) will kick off shortly after 7 p.m. on Oct. 10 in Tiger Stadium in the latest renewal of a series that has become a key game in both the league race and national championship hunt this decade.
LSU and Florida have each won two BCS national championships since 2003. The winner of the head-to-head matchup the last three seasons has finished the season with a national crown.
The game will be televised by CBS.
