Why don't we make teams pay for loading the box?

This is the part that frustrates me the most. I don't know if JJ can/cannot read the D, but for some reason either the plays aren't being called to make the defense pay for it, or the plays aren't being made.

I watced the line a lot, both sides of the ball, and we are getting physically whipped far too often.BUT there is no way any line can block more than one guy each and as long as we allow every team to load the box with 7 to 9 people we are not gonna be able to run . Why don't we make teams pay for loading the box? Is it b/c Jordan can't read defenses and check off? Is it the coachs' play calling? I have never enjoyed winning less than this year. That will probably be ending shortly though.

I don't understand the notion that the problems, whatever they might be, get fixed in a week.
Les called this O-line possibly his best back in August. What did he see?
This weakness is quite fundamental and seems to be quite a bit more than just attitude...
I'm very concerned.

i agree. That is a retarded statment. You may not respect Miles but make no mistake; Black completely respects Miles and plays his heart out for LSU. Its the loss of Herman Johnson that is the reason for his lackluster performance. Herm was the studd on the right side not Black...

The play calling, who ever is doing it, is garbage! Our line just doesn't seem as stong as the guys they line up against We have extremly fast skilled people. Why don't we spread the field out and see what the line can do with more of a finesse attack. This running out the eye with CS and KW is just not going to work when the DT's are 2 yards in the backfield on every play.

This is a good point after watching the line get beat or underperform, LSU needs to look to be a pass first offense to set up the run. How could the line look this bad so early in the season. I also noted that the TE Dickson can't block worth beans. Defenses line up wide and just blow past the tackle/TE's.

So you come back for your senior year to play for a coach you don't respect or care for and say what the frick, I'll lose millions from the NFL but I'm going to play like shite because I don't like Miles... sounds like either C. Black or you is retarded... guess which one I'm choosing..
