MSU played a decent game against LSU-the turnovers were bad-but they did run the ball quite well and played good defense against the run-they were terrible last year and they were perceived to be the worst in the SEC this year but we now know thats not the case. The tigers got the win-it was on the road, and MSU was up for the game. I will bet you they will pull of some surprises this year!!

Much improved team. Good luck the rest of the way.

Any team that forces 4 turn overs in a half plus a turnover on downs and is only up 2 is a team that isn't very good. Mississippi State will eventually become a good program again, but they have not improved that much in one off season. Score should have been much much worse.

Not with Lee slinging the rock. Even Georgia Tech's D will be able to force some turnovers.

Who said their defense was great? And they held Ms. St. to 24 pts.

And whose fault is that?

edit to add: MSU blocked a punt from Auburn and ended up kicking a FG as a result.

No, but a snap over the punters head is as effective as MSU blocking it... stop arguing for the sake of arguing.

Actually its more effective seeing as it led to a TD rather than a FG. Our defense was word out, but in reality, we had 2 blown coverages, a botched FG, botched XP, botched punt.

That's how we wasted the 4 turnovers in the first half. We also continued to settle for FGs inside the 10 yard line and this has to stop. We have 4 FGs inside the 12 yard line, and would've had 5 had we not missed the chipshot FG (which was a mistake on Miles' and the coaches part to not take an intentional delay of game to give us a better angle).

LSU, much like the UW and Vandy games is keeping its opponents in the games, and not vice versa.

Not as bad as they have been, but they are still bad. Not very much talent.

Edited for too much bluntness originally.
