I just saw the video on ESPN about TC McCartney. Is this kid any good, does he have a chance to actually play one day?

I saw it last week on Gameday. Great story, and it says a lot about Miles' character that he honored his relationship with Sal Aunese by putting his son on the team at LSU.

very nice story, but I do think they play up his potential a bit...he is far down the depth chart at this point....

I'm sure Les is going to get the guy at least one snap in a game before his eligibility runs out.

I remember reading an article in 2007 say he turned down offers from Utah, byu, and some mountain west/wac schools to walk on at lsu. He said he wanted to apart of an championship team and since miles knew his family, he came here. I heard he is a decent sec qb potential. Better than the crappy qb miss state has. Glad he is here.

He moved to tight end last spring but then this fall moved back to QB, no he will never see any meaningful PT.
