What to do about cow bells?

Going to Starkvegas for the first time and I'm worried about the cowbells. How do you stop from grabbing one of those damn things and either beating the person with it, or chunking it into the crowd?
We're going with and sitting with State fans, and I've seen their personalized bells. Bicycle grips and all. I've seen the blisters they come back with from ringing those things the whole game too. Ugh.
Should I bring an air horn in the game?
I think I either need Xanex or ear plugs, or both.
How to deal with this BS? Do they taunt people by ringing the bell at you? Hard to laugh and just shake that off after a few hours.

I think so. If only MSU security was as psycho about enforcing this rule as LSU's security is about enforcing everything.

Only thing you can hope is LSU jumps out to fast big lead. Otherwise they will ring those things the whole damn game even though it IS a violation of SEC rules.

Keep your pansy arse at home. That would be one solution. Drink yourself to death is another viable option.

Pray for the opening kickoff to be run in for a TD. Otherwise, just sit there and try not to let it bother you. It's only really bad when someone is ringing 10" from your head. In that case I would polite ask them to not ring it in your face. Most State fans will comply. However, if there's a jerk trying to piss you off, I'd go find a cop and ask them to intervene.
