I have a question about credit card rewards. I spend roughly 4500 a month on stuff mainly my house every dime i make that is not budgeted i pay toward my house. basically i pay 2800 a month on a house payment. If I get a credit card with a good reward program can i charge a house payment of 2800 a month and get rewards on all of that? If so wouldnt it be a good idea to get one spend my 4500 a month on it. Pay it off at the end of the month and have a reward on 54,000 a year spent. Some one who uses these please let me know also let me know what i might be able to get for about 54k spent a year thanks

Don't think you can pay a mortgage via credit card..only option I could think of is if you had checks for credit card and maybe you would have to send check to mortgage company to make payment, which would be a lot of trouble, however, I don't think you can do that
I use Amex Hilton Honors card and have been extremely happy and essentially put everything possible on it and carry no balance

Does this one have an annual fee?
I have been using a Chase Disney card for almost a year now and just put down a little over $500 from reward money on a Disney trip we are taking in December. After taking that trip I am going to be looking for another card.
Had been using a cash rewards card from Citi for several years, but I think the other options(such as hotel reward points) offer better deals from what I have read.

Some card issuers flirt with this every now and then, it isn't common but check with your card issuer.
If it's allowed, the deal usually is that you are on the hook for the transaction fee the card charges, and this changes everything. Card issuers will charge a percentage of the transaction fee to most vendors (and so you never see it), but for mortgages you will almost certainly have to pay it instead. Expect 2-3% or so.
True, you get to use the money for that one month. And if it's a rewards card that pays out a similar rate and you really do plan to use the reward month after month this could be okay.
But honestly, it strikes me as a lot of work for what will amount to very little profit. Once you take out the transaction fee we're talking a fraction of a percent, something like $10 a month or so at best. Not worth the trouble in my book, it's easier to just watch a movie at home instead of at the theater.
