Call to Arms Against the Negatigers

How miserable and insecure are the majority of these "so called" fans. I am embarassed by them and we are the "butt" of endless jokes because of this ignorant segment of our fanbase.
A few examples:
1. Complain that an 18 yr old decided to attend another university over LSU and assume that the 18 yr old has no loyalty or sense;
2. Complain that an 18 yr old that did come to LSU is a piece of shite because he is not the "second coming of Billy Cannon" in his first or second season......(maybe that 18 yr old that did not come had it right....not all schools' fans are as fickle as LSU.)
3. Complained when Saban was losing to Ole Miss and UAB at home. And of course change tunes when the wins started to come in 2003. Of course Saban lost 3 games or more games every year except for 2003. But then again lets not let the facts enter the discussion.
4. Complained about Jarret Lee and screamed for JJ to get the starts. Now that fan is screaming for CG or RS or even JL to take snaps. (Why no one discusses the impact of "kicking off" RP when they discuss last years troubles is beyond me. I am proud that we have a Coach who does stand for something.)
So much more,,, but I quit.
The season is more than 12 individual games, the season is about building and developing and creating difficult matchups in future games.
These negatigers would rather have LSU win by 35 each game and demonstrate all of our weapons rather than slowly build the resume until Oct 3.....
The inferiority complex of my fellow Louisiana brothers is massive and it will always be an issue for LSU.....
A few examples:

Good constructive criticism is always welcome....
Our negafans, in the stands, at the bars and on this Board, seem to have a unique talent of expousing some of the most idiotic comments and eventually you become fatigued with the realization that we do have a very large portion of our fanbase that will not be happy unless the team and the coach are perfect.....serious issues with this group!
Grass is always greener with this bunch.....

i don't like the "bashing" of our 3-0 team, but pointing out their shortcomings or areas that they need improvement is NOT being a "negatiger".. some people have realists confused with being negative...
don't get me wrong tho, there are plenty of people that no matter how well we do, they'll still criticize....

i agree with this. even with all the interceptions, if our defense could have made a few stops we would have won a couple more games...
now this year the interceptions have not been a problem, the defense is playing better, but we have NOT looked impressive even in our victories. i think this is what is concerning to most fans...

I'm all with you too. What good do negative, down-grading discussions do for this atheletic program? I'm so sick and tired of hearing it. The team is off to another 3-0 start and there's so much of it out there. There is certainly a fine line between being critical and being negative, but when people talk about who the next coach will be and shite like that I want to spit in there face. Get a clue! Your attitude is a cancer for LSU athletics and it doesn't need you. You put everyone else around you in a sour mood because you bitch like your lunch money got stolen all over something that you should be supporting more than anything if you're a true fan.
Why don't you simply have an understanding that there are going to be negative things that do happen, there are some things we can't control, and there will be alot of things that a lot of people don't understand. Celebrate the piss out of our achievements and stick closely through the bumps and bruises. That's what real support is, I love how when people want to feel like bitching all of a sudden we have hundreds of things wrong with our program. These people are idiots.

not all other major colleges are as negative as our fans.(see Nebraska's site) the reason I joined this board was to negate some of the negatigers. YOU DON'T SEE 50,000 Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, or, God Forbid, Bama fans leaving at halftime of every game. The empty seats are an embarrassment.
