You see some of the problems on offense. What would you suggest to Crowton?
Use Shep in short yardage situations instead of trying to ram it in?
Use roll outs and play action for Jefferson?

I would suggest he not listen to internet coaching experts.

Use the fricking Wild cat!! It's ok to use it more than 3 times a game(look at arkansas).
Also, fix the OL if you can.

Stick with vanilla and then break out the Triple Option Flexbone offense for FLA

whenever we line up 3 WR's on one side of the field and there are only 3 db's over there, throw the f'ing ball to one of the receivers on that side of the field.

Short to intermediate passing on 1st down more often to improve running game.
Use Shepard to his fullest (true wildcat, allow him to roll out with run/pass option), and use him more in space when not at QB.
By formation, isolate LaFell, TT, and Randle in one on one matchups with corners and allow them to out-athlete them on the flanks ...just like they did with LaFell's 1st TD last night. Just need to do it more often.
Oh, and use more "finesse" plays on short yardage (like Lee's toss to Scott for TD) instead of running into 8 men in box.

Give the ball to #5!
Don't make things harder than they need to be.

1) Come up with a game plan, before the game, that leverages your strengths and takes advantages of any weaknesses on defense. Adjust as necessary, but dictate to the defense, not the other way around.
2) Go back to the huddle, our young guys need the 10 seconds to absorb and visualize the call, and clarify their responsibility if the need to.
3) Reduce the number of formations
4) Either let Shep run the option and the zone read, or quit running the plays

Here's a guy (Crowton) that knows more about offense than most people at his level in his profession. Of course, people from the rant would be able to give him valuable insight on how to fix the offense.

I recommend to the entire LSU Athletic Department that they should never ever pay any attention to what the RANT's coach haters want.
If they do want to pay attention to the clueless coach haters on the RANT, they better get prepared to buy out contracts on every coaching staff that produces a 3-0 record and #7 national ranking in week 3.
