My group has rooms reserved in Louisville and also Columbus. Which would be the better place to stay?

Not worth staying IMO but if you insist then drive to Columbus and stay downtown.

Seriously people,,, this is the absolute worse sec road game there is.
Ive been 3 times, and aint going back.

People always mention cowbells but It's tough to ring a cowbell in a 45-0 35-7 and a 41-6 beatdown.

Slow learner huh?

I went ONCE and only ONCE in 1982 to that miserable sorry excuse for a city/town/campus. We lost and those "Deliverance" extras still kicked our car as we were leaving. We definately made sure we didnt need gas anywhere close to that god forsaken place.

Anyone who travels to Starkville to see LSU play is waaaaay too much of a fan... Watch it on TV and save your money to go to another away game...it's not worth it.

well first time my buddy was dating a girl from there so we went to a party.
Seocnd time another friend of mine came from nola sat at about 6am and said get it in the jeep
Last time it was first game of the yr on a thurs.
Seemed like a good idea since 8months had went by without an LSU football game.
No more though, done with the dump.
On a postive note Ive seen 3 absolute beatdowns.

You will wan't to stay in Columbus for sure. I live in Columbus and it has more choices for eating and everything for that matter. The team usually stays here at the Holiday Inn. Hope it helps.
