Even though I'm one of the few who actually like Jim Hawthorne, I still think of Ferguson as the voice of the Tigers.

I can still hear him talking about the exploits of Willie Teal, Charles Alexander, and Hokie Gajan.

just listen to the great call of the bert jones to brad davis pass-- that is vintage - - Hawthorne is ok and has had a great history-but he just can't deliver on that style--- jones back to throw he has davis-- caught on the last play of the game--brad davis catches a bert jones pass in the corner of the endzone
