LSU No. 10 on my ballot

I ranked LSU No. 10 in the inaugural Examiner.com top 25 poll, which will be updated every week.
If Jordan Jefferson is as good as many observers say he is, my initial ranking is too low, but it won't take long for the Tigers to move up if they win their first four games.

Damn, brah.
Anyway, GSmith, I agree with you that Colt should have won the Heisman last year.

they are not at all like FSU of the ninties. USC was screwed out of the BCS game in 2003 and also 2008. Yet, I understand USC must win the games they are expected to win, so no tears are shed. It over, and God bless Oklahoma.

You put LSU at # 10, fine, but at #7 you have alabama and basically make excuses why they lost to utah instead of why they should be #7 , WTF?
Oh, and another thing, that OT that wasn't there for the bowl game isn't there for them this year. You suck and how you are allowed to vote in some sort of ballot, ranking teams is beyond me. This is the very reason why most people think these ranking are full of shyt!

oregon at 8 is way too high. they play at boise st, who you listed at 16, to start the season and will probably start off 0-1. masoli is a legit dual threat qb, but with no o-line, he'll be more one dimensional. (bsu literally knocked him out of the game last year, concussion style) tcu is better than oregon imo, and you have them all the way down at 21. as a side note, i actually hope oregon beats boise because if they don't, the broncos have a legit chance at being undefeated at the end of the year and causing all kind of shite for a potential 1 loss sec team. either way, props for being involved in a semi legit poll...that's more than 99% of the posters here can claim.

ALSO IN my defense
Florida played Hawaii, Tenn, Ark, Ky , Vandy,
S. Car, and of course the Citadel.
Oklahoma played Tenn Chat,
Wash, Bay, Kan st, A&M
In contrast USC Beat Virginia 52-7 Ohio St 35-3
Oregon 44-10 N. Dame 38-3 Penn st 38-24
But they did play Wash, Wash st, Ar. st , Stan

Cripes, this gsmith dude is an idiot. He claims, "oh gee, Bama lost because they didn't have their best OT" WTF? THEY STILL DON'T HAVE HIM, DUMBASS! Why rank Bama at #7?!?
All the more reason why the "press" shouldn't be allowed to vote on anything football--they don't know squat!
