LINKupdated yesterday
Evan Washington #6-down one spot
Mike Davis #14-up two spots
Zach Lee #28-down two spots
Luke Muncie #78-down 14 spots
Lache#5-down two spots
Jeffcoat still second behind Texas commit, Reggie Wilson
14 of the top 25 are Texas commits-they keep moving them up!
Only seven of the top 60 players in Texas are still uncommitted.
there are links at the bottom to each update of this class-see the Texas commits rise and everyone else's commits fall before your very eyes!

I don't look at that site but Washington at # 6 is insane. Jeffcoat has to be the number 1 guy.

Longhorn envy of Washington.

I'm not saying that Washington isn't a very good prospect. Any level headed LSU fan should know that Washington isn't the 6th best prospect in Texas.

Washington is a beast, but he is hardly number 6 in the state of Texas.
Bible is also a ridiculous ranking.
ESPN is trying to be different WAY too much.

Where would you rank him How far are they off on this one?

Scout also has Bible very highly ranked (#1 DT).

There's a huge difference between number 1 DT in the nation and #1 player in the state of Texas.
I don't think that many teams would pick Bible over Seastrunk, if given the option.

It is high for his current level of development. The high ranking has to be based on his potential. He must be one of the most athletic big guys ever for them to think he can develop into the sixth best player and best offensive tackle. He is still very raw but he is nimble for his size and he keeps playing until he hears the whistle. I noticed him not "holding" his blocks a lot against Cedar Hill Saturday night. It looked like he didn't really get on his man and drive him the way he will have to at the next level when run blocking. The good thing he did did in these instances where he made contact and glanced off of his man was to go on and hit the next man he saw. The DeSoto offense ran right over him a lot and the back usually found a little crease there to run through. I thought he did a surprisingly good job when they passed. That was where you saw his good foot work and balance in stying in front of his man. I am glad he is ranked that high and I do think he will be a great one with great coaching.

When he is number one nationally you would expect it.

Washington is very slow off the ball and doesn't have very good feet. Definitely will be a three year project at LSU.

Disagree. I don't think it's unreasonable at all for the #1 DT in the nation to be the #3 player in Texas. I think most teams would prefer the best DT in the country over the best RB in the country, especially an undersized one. RBs are too easy to come by.

OK, Mr Expert, then why did he have the offers he did and why does a former olineman as a player and a olineman coach in Les Miles offer him? He is also the son of Marvin Washington, who played 11 years in the NFL.
Sorry but I trust Miles and the coaching staff over you dude.

Washington is rated much higher by the in-state sites than the national sites, for some reason. I happen to agree that #6 is way too high for him right now. He looked like a stud on the basketball court, but it hasn't translated to football yet.
Not sure why all the Tex fans whine for Taylor Bible to be a 5*. Bible is no better than Darrington Sentimore or Josh Downs were from Louisiana last year.
