I'm looking to get a sattelite for our tailgate. Which company you suggest? Direc-tv or another company?

We use Direct TV... I think they're all the same though.

i wish i could find the youtube video of the hippie who stole some people's satellite after the App St game last year while people were post tailgating and he tripped over the curb in front of Middleton and he received an arse beating.

Is it the same service you use through your house? Like do you have Direct Tv at home and just use that satellite?

I have Digital Cable at home. I want to beable to have satelite at LSU. So what is the easiest way to do that? Would it be a rediculous amount to get Direct TV for tailgating,if i dont have satelitte at home?

No. Buy the dish and receiver and a pre-paid satellite card. Its like $5/day.

I have had direct tv for 3 years and it has gone out a total of 0 minutes. But that is just my experience, and we get tornadoes here every time it rains.

A few other posters have done this. I'm going to do it next week. Can buy the set up from ebay or over in Port Allen at that Baton Rouge Satellite place.

Then go get a green dot card from Wallgrees, upload it with $30 or so, and use it for the season.

Me either until bryso did the research. They used one last year with no problems.

In fact, if you call to use your card on the day of the service (Saturday morning), you actually get Sunday as well and all the NFL games.
