I will be in Houston on the weekend of the Washington-LSU game. Where is the best place to watch with other LSU fans? Thanks for your help!

Big Woodrows on Chimney Rock...no contest.

yea, HoustonTiger got it right. Big Woodrows is the best place to watch LSU. Fans that are there, watch the game and get into it. Best experience this side of Lake Charles.

I will actually be at the game in Seattle. Go early and get a table upstairs to get the full experience. It's 100% LSU fans, waitress's in LSU shirts, fight songs playing on the sound system...the places goes crazy. It has been designated as the Houston LSU bar for years, its the primary game watching bar and LSUAA happy hour location.

The "Death Valley" of Houston. Fun place on gameday.

how far in advance would you say? an hour or 2?

Its tough to say and usually depends on the game. This is the season opener plus the first away game so it it should be packed (generally less crowded for homes games since many Houston fans travel to the games). To lock down a full table upstairs I would say at least two hours ahead. If you just need a chair or two you can probably get away with squeezing in an hour or so before kickoff.

I have never been to Big Woodrows during a football game. My parents are visiting Labor Day weekend. Will Woodrows be to rowdy for them?

How old are they? Think indoor LSU tailgate . All age groups are usually there. If they enjoy Tiger stadium they will like Woodrows

It is a good place for football games, if you feel the need to go somewhere. Just a warning - the parking around there is HORRIBLE. Get dropped off, carpool, or go early.

People get into the game and the place gets rocking but its not a frat party or anything. People of all ages. Might want to try downstairs if they are looking for a slightly quieter game watching experience.

place is nuts. Parking is a bitch though and the times i've gone I almost always had to park across the street. I don't wanna go back thought because the last three times i've gone, we have lost all three games
