Aaron Corp came back today for his first full pad practice since being injured and was very sharp. Barkley threw 2 picks.

He cares also, or else he would not have responded. There are a number of threads posted that I do not care about, so I simply do not respond to them. Pretty simple solution.

Did Petey make Corp the starter yet? I heard on sports center that A. Corp had to be ready to go at practice today to get the job??

Well then, that settles it. He should get the Heisman and ESPN should immediately begin production on their next 'team of the century' feature to be aired a day before the NC game.

Great news for USC. They were going to be in a lot of trouble with Barkley starting. Great potential, but needs a year.

Is Mustain that bad that he can't even get ahead of a freshman 4 years his junior?

I won't lie, I didn't watch all of that high school all star game, but I wasn't that impressed with him. Really hard to come in as a true freshman and dominate at this level. Dude will be a stud in a few years, I'm sure, but if I was a USC fan I'd want Corp going against tOSU.

Yeah pretty much.

Corp being back is good news for the Trojans. I still think their best bet is to start Corp but bring Barkley in to mop things up.

8-0 as a starter in the SEC... but can't see the field in the Pac 10!!!

He's making some unbelievable throws and following it up with a pick, which he wasn't doing in the spring and early in the fall. Same issue he had in high school. I feel a lot more comfortable with Corp, who doesn't have even close to Barkley's talent level, but also doesn't make the same freshman errors.

If OSU wasn't the 2nd game of the year, I'd be more in favor of barkley just based on the talent difference, but not with the current schedule and every tough game on the road

I thought that he looked outstanding in that game. I have to say I am suprised by his struggles. I am sure hw will come along, but he had all the makings of an instant impact player. I guess you just never can tell. I do think that Corp will be excellent as well, just think that Barkley has a higher ceiling.

He is playing against a much, much better defense than he's ever seen before. Even having a stud OL he still probably forces things from time to time

Oh he's still way past where everyone was expecting at this point, just not to the point where it would be beneficial for him to start. He's way way past where Leinart, Booty, or Sanchez were as true freshmen

yyyyeah i'm just going to go out on a limb and say that Matt Barkley has a better collegiate career than Jarrett Lee. Just going out on a limb.

Can't see the field at USC, but if were at ucla or Zona or Washington St he would start. But Barkely is a stud. Only reason he struggled is because Pete threw the defense at him in the scrimmages while Corp was gone.

Lee has moxy like whoa. Dude can throw 3 pick 6s then shake it off and lead the team down the field
