LSU football slightly better in '09

The 2009 LSU team will win 9 games this year. They will not beat the gators, the tide, or the rebels this year. Les miles has got his work cut out for him this year against georgia on the road and the rest of the west division who have all improved drastically in a short year. Tiger stadium suffered 3 losses last year the most since saban's early years there(not acceptable!). I would say that had not for a stellar recruiting class LSU would be the least improved team in the west division. I see them going 9-4 this year with alot of inconsistency at quarterback and receiver. They have good backs but a suspect O-line in big games. The defense is gonna be called on to win games when the offense is struggling and they have yet to prove they can stop the big play. We are starting to see the type of athletes and football players that Saban brought in there for LSU that Les doesnt have anymore, or atleast have as much of anymore. I'm looking for LSU to be playing either in the chick fil a bowl or the the outback bowl. Sorry tiger fans but don't expect a top 10 finish from your bayou bengals in 09. Do expect a fun exciting year in the strong SEC though. Go gators. Looking forward to october 10th in death valley.
