Forget Lache and get Storm Johnson!!

I really think Storm is the better prospect. Plus Storm loves LSU. Let's not sit around waiting until NSD for a kid who is very talented but IMHO won't be the college player SJ will be.

SJ is a good player, but Lache adds a dimension that is rare to find.
We need Lache.
We need Lache.

Wish we could've gotten both.

Would have been nice....
But everyone has a hard-on for Ware, so they are thinking we will turn out better than with Storm
I just pray we don't take Blue. I will really shake my head on that commit if we take it.

So you are saying that we should:
1. Conditionally offer Storm and ask him to keep quiet because of possible complications it could cause regarding Lache's recruitment.
2. Retract this conditional offer because Storm (I mean Storms father) didn't keep quiet because we are higher on other prospects (Lache)
3. Have the coaches admit that they made some egregious error in their evaluations and have now decided Lache isn't the prospect that Storm is.
4. Offer Storm a commitable offer, and forget about Lache AND Trovon.
Is that right?
Please go back to the Rant and stay there.

Yeah I hear ya.
But I won't lie.
I fell in love with Storm's highlight reel.
There must have been something the coaches saw in Ware that they didn't see in Storm.
I guess that's why they get paid the big bucks because I sure don't see it.

Why? It's not set that he is following Lache.

People will start questioning us not taking Storm's commitment once his senior year starts--take that to the bank.
Previously, Storm was at a high school that only let him touch the ball 6-7 times a game. He will now be the feature back at his new highschool.
You've seen what he did at Buford with only a few touches a game. Imagine once he gets 3-4x as many touches each game.

Watching some of his interviews he doesn't seem like a really bright kid at all.
With him waiting till after his season to commit I think our class should be filled up besides one or two guys, so I don't think we should worry. Ole Miss bound.

So is there NO WAY to get him back into the fold?
BTW: Go Bears Lynx.

I think we have basically cut all ties with the Johnson family. Imagine if you had gone through everything they have--I sure as hell would have no desire to send my son to that school any longer (especially when there are other options).

How many elite RBs get that few carries their Junior year? And why did he feel the need to transfer? Just a lot of red flags on the guy.

Ones that play at one of the better schools in the country with offenses not perfectly suited for them to get touches.
Imagine if you are an elite player at MNW? You may not even step onto the field as a starter until your senior year--even though you will be receiving major D1 offers.

Because they wouldn't give him the ball.

I'm pretty sure that once we signed Ware, LSU was done with "power" running backs.
BTW I don't agree with you when you say to take Storm over Lache.
Lache Seastrunk is one of those freak of nature athletes that, if you're lucky enough to get, you don't pass on.
Like I said earlier though--if we could've only gotten both Lache and Storm...

lynx, isn't Buford a power running offense? They had two OLs heading to UGA. How would that not fit Storm? And it wasn't an elite player that Storm was behind.
There were just too many rumors of other things for my liking, along with Chad Simmons on Scout saying that he doesn't run physical enough for a big guy (gave me Keiland flashbacks

CHS 1990. I knew your cousin Scott.
I'm really not on boars with Lache being a "freak of nature" and all that. Listen, I'd love to have him and maybe he becomes the next college Reggie Bush. I just liked Storm better. Go back and look at some of SJ's vids. Amazing balance and really big and fast.
