How many receptions will Jefferson have this year?

I really liked the way OSU spread out Pryor when what's his name came in at QB. I think we may see Shep come in at QB, and instead of JJ leaving the field, he splits out wide. As tall as he is, he's a great target. I wouldn't be surprised if he catches 4-5 balls this year.

the real question is:
how many option plays will lee run?

why would you take the slower guy and move him to wr and bring the faster guy to play qb? I think in terelle's case, it was because he could fricking fly.

Pryor is the fastest player on OSU's team and the other QB is a better passer. Why would we bring in the faster QB, put him at QB for the slower player to play receiver when we have WR's who can do that?

I'll put the over/under at 1

i'll take the over. hell, all he has to do is catch a batted ball back to himself. does that count?

Jefferson is not the athlete that Pryor is. Not even close. That's not a knock on JJ, either.
Pryor was a 5* basketball recruit as well.

if you've already shown the formation with Shep running out of it, you may get JJ 1 on 1 or even open if you fake the run and pass.

I thought it was more his height against a CB

Because nobody would be expecting it and a 6'4" guy on a 5'10" corner would be a pretty big mismatch.
QBs much slower than Jefferson have split out and caught passes. I want to say Flynn or Mauck caught one or 2.

Not saying that JJ would have been a 5* hoops recruit but he was the best player on the Destrehan High School basketball team as a sophomore. He didn't play as a junior or senior bc he wanted to focus on football. But he was an even better basketball player than Tim Molton was at Destrehan.

Flynn caught one from Doucet against the Gumps in 2007.

Considering Miles and Crowton are infamous for running a successful trick play and then putting it into the vault for the rest of the season...I'll have to say 3-4

Aw shite. I can just hear it now. After the first time JJ wides, we're all going to have to listen to over 9000 "trickeration" references by the announcers.

OMG. You must be kidding. Ya, put your starting QB out there so he can get his clocked cleaned, even if he doesn't have the ball. Do you even know if he can catch?
Sorry, I guess I just assume that everybody on this board really understands the game of football. I get the ocasional throw back to the QB thing, but this is kind of goofy to say the least.
