The Pac looks so good on paper because they only play amongst them crappy selves and the play een crappier Big 10 teams in bowl games

what is worse?
some LSU fans and their obsession with USC, or Pac-10 fans that waste all day attacking the SEC?
i can't muster enough care about the Pac-10 to read that thread.

until the Pac-10 gets at least average bowl tie ins i can't even take their bowl record that seriously.

How dominant is USC? USC has more OOC wins (8) against Top 10 teams than the entire SEC (7). USC's record is an astounding 8-2 or 80%. Given this, how can USC have only played in 1 BCS championship game this decade?
Ok out of conference but lets add out of conference and in conference top 10 teams and then see what the numbers are.

That was my argument last year,
Sure they went what 4-0, but they were practically done with their games before the SEC even started theirs and we won the big one not just last but the last three years

You play in a shitty conference full of cupcakes. People don't respect that. It's really not that hard.

Even with some horrible teams on the sched. for SEC teams, they still are the best show in town. Way more top match ups than the PAC.
Tulane could be three of the teams in the PAC Tin. USC has it easy, no amount of spin can change that. Plus, the PAC refuses to step up with a CCG.

His argument sounds good. I have not run the numbers, but if his are accurate, then what is the error? Besides: "It is B.S." or "on paper"
If the Sec is better one through 12, why doesn't it show up in the numbers? Again, that is assuming his numbers are accurate. Sounds like the guy had not much to do with his time.

These pics are killing me. Damn.
All these arguments are fairly silly. You can't really compare teams that haven't played. It is identical to the geezer saying that the 1789 Yankees were better than the 2007 Dodgers. OK dude.
But I think that it is generally accepted that the SEC has been more consistently tough over the past 20 years. That doesn't mean that every SEC team is better, or that USC sucks...it just reflects the fact that the middle tier SEC teams tend to be tougher than the middle tier in the other conferences.
Plus, the SEC has never participated in a BCS championship game and lost, so the argument that getting out of the SEC makes you the best in the country has yet to be disproved.

This is funny for many reasons. First being that it starts..."Great Read". My arse great read. Like reading a cell phone bill.
Do we really need to analyze why the PAC-10 sucks.
Please give USC, LSU's schedule for next season and see how they do and we'll go play in the PAC-10/ automatic Rose Bowl.

Why should this be banned? It should be moved to a different board, but the SEC isn't head and shoulders above the Pac-10 every year.
