Joba's one of my favorites, but I'm a Yankee fan. He is the heir to Mariano and should have a great career as the closer.

He struck out a guy with the bases loaded to end the inning and gives a big fist pump and a scream.

He does a dance in the dugout after his team scores a bunch of runs.

So what. I don't see why this is such a big deal.

Would he still do all this if he had to bat?

I hope so. People who have a fricking problem with this are honestly nothing more than haters against one of the best teams in baseball.

Sounds like a more amped-up Anthony Ranaudo. See: End of 1st in Game 3 against Texas. If there's an LSU fan present that had a problem with that, shoot yourself.

It's not like he's doing it to show people up, he's doing it out of passion. The game desperately needs that.

Also, moments of passion like that against a rival should be mandatory. Nothing better to fire your fans up.

I don't think Joba gives a shite about the haters. He's getting paid and having fun.

That's the spirit of college baseball. The game is much more emotional.

In the MLB, if you should a lot of emotion, it is view as unprofessional and sometimes it is.

Go back to what I said. I said SOMETIMES. And I was just laying out how some people view it.

Look, I'm all for celebrations when the other team isn't shown up. That being said, I think Chamberlain shows up the other team quite often. He can get away with it because he doesn't have to hit.

If I were his teammate, though, and I was getting beaned because of it, I wouldn't be happy about it, though.
