This years GOLD game...

Its been said that some people did not know about the Gold Game being near until the night before. Well, start spreading the word now. Tiger Stadium, Saturday Night, Gold Game...could turn out to be pretty good....

i think its a great idea... i've never been to a Gold Game, this year will be my first. i can't wait to see what its like...

For the Mississippi State game last year is was pretty much all gold with white and purple sprinkle. I think the all gold stadium will look awesome for a night game with CBS. The crowd will be rocking and will look good in gold doing it.

are you expecting the gold game to be in the realm of a penn state white out?
if you answer yes then you will be disappointed
correct me if i'm wrong, but i think we usually get maybe 50% in gold during a good year
ETA: I remember more purple, white & grey ...
i am glad they moved the gold game to a cooler time, 2nd-3rd weekend is too hot for anything other than heather grey or white

will the team, field, coaches, band, or anyone else do anything different for this game. what color uniforms will we wear?

CBS has put the game on hold for its primetime, barring one of us totally screw up the first 4 weeks (and by one of us, i mean us) CBS will have to have Tebow primetime this year

I don't think they will do anything different. It is more for the fans to do. I don't see why so many people don't like to do it, I always comply with the gold day. I also think it looks good and T.V. and makes LSU fans look like a unified group of fans.

Thats true.. I'm bringing my Fiancee and one of my buddies to the game. She is an Alabama fan, and he is an Auburn fan... They will both be wearing gold that night. I was thinking what better game to take them to than LSU vs Florida, a cool October night, Tiger Stadium, all Gold... you know...
