Were we unfair to coaches Mallory and Peveto?

Were the Tigers too hasty in dismissing them for Chavis?
Maybe the coaches should have given them a chance to redeem themselves.
I mean it's not a foregone conclusion that just because they failed last year they would have failed this year.
Why did coach Miles just assume that they would not improve?
Perhaps coach Miles should have handed them the reigns once again this year. I mean, what would that have cost the team?
Or maybe they should have been kept on as consultants to Chavis. I mean, who knows? Chavis might start screwing up--or he might even go down with an injury. Then Mallory and Peveto would have been available to go right in and save the team.
It would seem that after all those two guys did for us, after all the effort they gave, we should have stood behind them and showed a little support.
It's a shame that now we'll vever know if coaches Mallory and Peveto could have redeemed themselves.
I mean, what's the worst thing that could have happened?

That defense was horrible last year. I wish them luck but they weren't ready for the SEC.

Giving them another chance.
Our defense looking lost on the field.
Substitutions when the other team is about to snap the ball.
Should I keep going? Was it unfair to give them the boot? HELL NO. I have never seen a defense so unprepared for plays in my life. LSU is in a much better situation now.

Hell No....
It wasn't only the results, but the confusion and lack of organization was a damn joke.
We aren't a damn High School team.

if Miles had the ability to have four defensive staffs, then he probably would've kept them as long as they were committed to working hard and getting better, just in case the first string defensive staff all got hurt...

I think they were unfair to us and owe us an apology.

When you are given the reins of a defense that helped win the national title, you have to perform.
Mallory and Peveto were given a once-in-a-lifetime chance and should be greatful to Miles, but they didn't perform.
If they had just maintained the defense, that would have been different, but they lost the defense last year--better luck next time.
P.S. I know this thread has sarcasm written all over it--The Devil's Advocate

Miles would have been gone after this year if they stayed.
