People always say this. In 2001 the man had Albert Haynesworth, and John Henderson right next to each other, and couldn't stop LSU and the QB draw.

Tennessee's 2001 defense was loaded.
And Chavis got plenty of grief from us as LSU fans over never adjusting to basically the same play over and over as Mauck was ineffective passing that game.
Chavis is not the second coming but he is a solid and experienced SEC DC. And a definite upgrade over the mistake made last year.
Fixed? I hope. Better? definitely.

You mean to say Chavis couldn't stop LSU with two players on defense. Didn't he know he could play eleven men on defense?
If my memory serves me correctly, Tennesse was shuting us down until our starting QB got hurt, and some white kid came in and started running around like a maniac.
