Story about the 79 USC game:
As you might expect with the number one team coming to town, tickets were extremely hard to come by.
I lived in the stadium (hence my name), and one day I was walking by the stadium ticket office and went inside. There was a sign that said USC tickets were available to anyone, limit 8 to a customer. Some people had options to buy and did not buy their allotments.
I got some tickets for friends and my parents. They were 35 yard line west side seats!
