1-0 Sox in the 5th. The plate umpire is just fricking terrible both ways. And that is not good for the Yanks.

I can't get mlb.tv to work. Is Gavin Floyd really pitching that well?

I know McClelland is the crew chief. I'm pretty sure Ted Barrett is behind the plate.

He is pitching well. But he has struck out three hitters on balls three inches outside that were called strikes. He has a nice backdoor breaking ball to the lefties, and he has been hitting his spots all game.

Pettitte is really pitching well too. I think he has 4 strikeouts already and he is really working his cut fastball well. The only run he allowed was a two out double on a slider he left up because he was too worried about the runner on 1st base.

Derek Jeter has been flying out to right field a lot lately, may need to start pulling the ball a little more. Guess I can't complain about a .322 batting average though.

Molina doubles to lead off the 6th, then Jeter lines out to right.

He doesn't pull the ball in the air unless it's batting practice.

He really only hits ground balls to the left side. With the new park, it's probly a good thing he lifts balls to right field.

If we traded him, we'd get some pretty good players in return.

4-6-3 DP to end the 6th.

Still 1-1.

Nobody will pick up his salary so there is not point even discussing this.

The guys has hit 35+ homers, had 100+ RBI, 100+ runs scored, and stolen 18+ bases every season with the Yankees.

I realize that he's very good. I just wish he wouldn't be such a douche.
