I know. I wish it wouldn't have hit Coke's glove. That ball was smashed.

Sucks that Pettitte can't get any run support in what probly will be his best stretch of the season.

quote:

Friday: RHP Sergio Mitre (1-0, 5.91) vs. LHP Clayton Richard (4-3, 4.65), 8:11, YES

Saturday: RHP A.J. Burnett (10-4, 3.53) vs. LHP John Danks (8-7, 3.89), 4:05, FOX

Sunday: LHP CC Sabathia (10-7, 3.83) vs. LHP Mark Buehrle (11-4, 3.45), 1:05, YES

Really need to find a way to win tomorrow so it can be 1-1 going into the weekend with Burnett, and CC on the hill against Buehrle. A split would be good this weekend.

You got to have a lefty, and he is the guy.

I wouldn't mind Hughes, Joba, Rivera in the 7th, 8th , and 9th either. But that would mean Pettitte would have to step up in the playoffs, which he has certainly done in the past and is certainly capable of doing.

He's not bad. He has really gotten better and has been pretty valuable this year.

The umpire was helping Floyd a lot. NOT ONE of those backdoor curveballs to the lefties were strikes. I know you have to adjust to how the umpire is calling the game, but that ball is unhittable, because it's 3 maybe 4 inches off the plate.
