Yea a lot of people are running into that problem. My personal preferance if you go the online route is Sportsbook.com......I feel like they make transferring money the easiest out of any off-shore sportsbooks. Betus.com is decent as well, also try oddsmaker.com.

I also use a local bookie occasionally, but I wouldn't reccomend that unless you know the guy.....i've just seen and heard too many shady stories to feel safe about them.
