Gran Torino was a pretty good movie, but it wasn't nearly as well rounded as Slumdog.
Cinematography - Edge Slumdog
Music - Slumdog
Overall Acting - Slumdog
Directing- Slumdog
Lead Actor - Torino
I haven't seen doubt, but the Wrestler follows the same pattern as Gran Torino.
I think the only reason the academy resents Titanic is Good Will Hunting. Slumdog doesn't have a Good Will Hunting.
Either way
Slumdog>>>>Chicago, Million Dollar Baby, and Crash
