in the book, dumbledor stunned potter before snape killed him so he couldn't do anything. Once he died (that released harry) there was a huge battle scene through hogwarts, that was the highlight of the books. Snape does own him, but he does a pretty good job getting to him. The ending of the movie dropped the ball compared to the book

And by what logic was this left out of the movie? This could have been a great scene.
Harry Potter is not a powerful wizard, overall, by the way. He is only powerful in one type of magic.
