Charles Scott for Heisman

If he runs over Georgia and Florida (150 + yards in each) he might get peoples attention.

Two chances of that happening....slim and none; and slim left town.

He got 144 against UGA last year, didn't do much against Uf but he didn't get many carries that game; not saying he's likely to get 150 in each, but getting over 100 isn't that far-fetched.

He can Heisman Watch from home just like everybody not named Tebow, Bradford or McCoy.

Get people's attention? Maybe. Win the Heisman? Not a chance. LSU sports has a much smaller market (numbers wise).

Getting 100 yds/game merely puts him in the "good back" category...

It's so funny how people want CS to win the Heisman, and want us to open up the offense, and run more with KW and find new ways to get the ball to Holliday.

Good way to avoid the point. The point was that Scott had 140+ yards against one of those great teams last year, and you said there is no way he would do it against both this year. So it is unlikely but possible. And if he does get 100-120+ yards against the best teams we face, he will average well more than 100 against lesser teams.

~1500 yards is all it takes to get on the national radar if you are part of a NC contending team. After that, it comes down to the story of the season. That, no one can predict.

Not avoiding anything.....

Georgia wasn't a "great team" last year. People thought they were great, but the proof was in their record.

It's possible Tebow, McCoy, and Bradford will all have horrible years and their teams will suck.

LSU will not be a NC contending team.

Don't see Scott contending for the heisman, but I do see the Tigers contending for the NC. Probably won't win them all, but we have a "damn strong team"
