Place to eat in Lake Charles

Does anybody know a really great place to belly upto the bar for dinner and some drinks?

Not too many options for you there but here's what I got:
L'Auberge - casino with a few restaurants
Casa Manana - decent Mexican with a little bar
Darrells - bar with best food in town (just do a search on this board of Darrells), nothing fancy
Mazens - fine dining according to LC standards, good food
Pujo St Cafe - downtown area, never eaten there but they have a decent sized bar area
Luna - downtown as well, good sandwiches, salads, appetizers, etc
Then you have your chain restaurants, which LC is very proud of.

Tony's Pizza doesn't have a bar and I don't think Steamboat Bills does either. Just a little fyi if you are hoping for the restaurant to have a bar.

Oh you're right. Scratch that. Then I recommend Darrells. I was just thinking of the places I like to go when I drive to Lake Charles.
