i'd walk in with a blank check made out to LSU and write a 1 then say "tell me when i get to start naming things" then i'd start adding zero's.
They say that LSU's ranking will not improve until LSU has the money to pay professors better, give more scholarships to attract the top students, and improve facilities. First, I'd bring the blank check to the chancellor's office and ask what it would take to make LSU #1 academically. Then, I'd take the check book to Skip's office and see what I could do to improve the athletic facilities. I don't want things named for me, my only condition would be that they rehab the stadium dorms--seeing as money is no object, "not economically feasible" is not in my vocabulary. I'm quite sure, when I finished, I'd have more tickets, parking, etc. than I could ever dream of wanting.

However much it would take to:

A- Get football tickets for life (home and away)

B- Name something on campus after my dad (may he R.I.P.)

C- get to lead the band out on the field before the game and be on the field for the best 4 notes in college football

Glad to see you guys have pride in the university as a whole rather than just what you'd get out of it.

I'd give the university somewhere around $200 million, but I would get to allocate the funds as I saw fit:

1. $30 million or so towards the hiring, and tenuring of master professors, researchers, and classified professionals.

2. $10 million for technological improvements to the campus.

3. $15 million towards overall infrastructure, including the building of parking garages on the corner of Skip Bertman Drive and Nicholson.

4. $40 million towards renovation and rebuilding of on-campus housing.

5. $20 million towards arts funding.

6. $40 million towards athletics.

7. And the rest would go towards setting up scholarships for the student body, masters and doctorate candidates.

And if all this got me season tickets in a box on the 50 yard line, and in the Box, along with front-row parking and a building or two named after me, I'll take it.

Skip doesn't have an office at LSU, sir.
