The Louisiana Class of 2011 is full of fireworks. The purpose of this thread is to see what positions our LSU Tigers will have to go OOS to sign players for the 2011 class. It is also a chance for us to collectively add names to the list and determine if certain guys will be recruited and if it could possibly be at a different position. Lets also realize that we only have 12 scholarships available for the 2011 class and possibly 11 depending on Dugas. good list, however you forgot the WR from Many, Davis and I believe their is also another TE in the state from the Baton Rouge area

Also, you can pretty well bank on it that another DE prospect will emerge from the state. I have a couple of guys I've seen in North La in particular that I'm keeping an eye on

Hey bud, post everybody that you know of.

I'll have a lot more info for you during the season when I've had a chance to see the Many and Richwood guys in person. From what I hear the Davis kid out of Many is a beast at 6'4 and plays WR and is a good basketball players/athlete as well. Richwood always has good athletes as well, but you never can tell whats up there academically. As for DEs, someone always emerges in their junior year... I'm keeping an eye on Mason Dean (son of NFL Hall of Famer Fred Dean) he will be a Junior this year and is long like his dad and may be a late bloomer. The class of 2012 could be the largest group of human beings that North La has seen give what I saw last year from local Freshman teams. Both West Monroe and Ruston had at least 8 guys a piece that were 6'2 230 or larger

Good List. I think Stevie Douglas has the potential to be one of the TOP QB prospects in the Country next year. He has all the tools you want, and he is trying to Play at Christian Life. I talked to Jermauria Rasco last week and he told me he was weighing 244 lbs now. He was at the Real Deal Camp at Zachary High School helping his Coach Byron Dawson with the camp as a helper and instructer. He has been named by multiple publications as the top high school Jr in America. Johnny Banks has a ton of upside, and I think he is a major D1 prospect as a DE and TE.

Jeremy Hill and Kenny Hilliard
Says they run a 4.6 but forty times are overrated...correct?
If we get Lache this year with Storm; Hilliard would be 'shirted because he similar to:
Storm,
Ridley,
Ford.......correct?

Which ones are likely to commit to LSU?
Posted on 7/4/09 at 2:32 pm to c on z
Dunno,
I suppose I need to quit worrying about 2011 recruits since that's what we did/do with Lache; and all it does is drive folks crazy.

how many of these guys, off the top of your head, do you think have the potential to be top 100?
Posted on 7/4/09 at 10:12 pm to Cheetah Flex
Collins, Johnson, Rasco, Landry, Hill, Hilliard, A Lewis, Sylve. Fitte possibly, but he may be too small for that high.

What part of what I said did you not read correctly?

Kenyatta, I know you know your recruiting from seeing you on different boards. Are you interested in being involved with the project at all?

I was hoping you asked him what he thought of LSU.
Posted on 7/6/09 at 1:49 pm to ColtsTigers
Well he did tell me that he has a phone conversation every Monday Night with Les Miles. I asked him how much he liked LSU and he smiled and said "A Lot".

What do you mean by Upside? What makes him the athlete he is?
