Hornets need a big man

Why did we not draft Dejuan Blair from Pitt when given the chance? Since there was a plan to trade for Thornton this would have provided us with two very different weapons as opposed to overloading in the backcourt. Are there any free agent options out there that WE CAN AFFORD???

The love for Blair is ridiculous. Obviously he wasnt drafted early because most teams in the league likely red-flagged him because of his knees.
Most important, he's not a good fit for the hornets. Blair and West couldnt be on the floor together because of the defensive mismatch problems.

Probably because he's only 6'5" and has major concerns over his knees. He was projected as a lottery player early on, but with his knee probs and lack of height he fell drastically.
