I went to my first game when I was 5...big difference in times from '75 till now...I took my kids when they were 10, 7, 5, 3 and didn't have any problems even though they asked me what that smell was and I had to tell them it was whiskey... 
I went to my first game when I was 5 in '75 but it was a lot easier explaining the whiskey smell then me asking my dad when I was 9 in '79 at the USC game when the students were hanging condoms out the dorms in the stadium and me asking what were those things were and my dad changing the subject quickly...
