that should be fine. Above all else, make sure it isn't scorching hot. Don't promise the kid anything beforehand and watch to see what the weather is going to be like. If the temp isn't too bad and you have no problem leaving at halftime, go for it. About every 30 minutes or so, get them a drink, then later an ice cream, etc. I have been taking my 2 kids to almost every game since ages 4 and 6. They demand that we stay the whole game. I still try to not take them to the 12:30, 95 degree games.
