only thing I see that Doucet does better than Shep is breaking tackles, which Shep doesn't ever seem to do in his highlights. But if Shep can get as big as Doucet was in his senior year at LSU...

I agree. Just for another comparison... here's Percy Harvin's high school video as a QB: LINK

No, it really is close. Doucet could handle his business.

I never saw either one in high school, but from the highlights on the internet, doucet has like 10 or so really really good runs. Shep has at least 15 minutes worth. It could just be because of the eras that they came out of.

nah. i don't know if you've seen any of shep's clips, but he's WAY more explosive than early. doucet looks like he's running in sand in the first clip that was posted in this thread compared to shep

I would have to with Shep. I think he is a little faster.

There isn't anything to compare here.

If you really want to create something to talk about then change the title to "Percy Harvin or Russel Shepard".

Check out the rest of Early's rivals clips. I gotta give him the edge.

I know we are talking about hs, but we have the luxury of already knowing what Doucet did at LSU. That being said when RS takes a screen pass goes 1 on 3, breaking 3 tackles and scores a TD in a NC game, then maybe Ill put him on Doucet's level.

Comparing them as high school prospects I don't think this is even a debate.

Like another post said, RS makes ED look like he is moving in sand.

Well then I guess the only thing left to do is wait and see if his talent translates to the college game like Doucets did..
