College basball and SI

The only champion of the three majors in college and pro that rarely if ever makes the cover. The other five champions, FB (pro and college) hoops (pro and college) make it EVERY time

Thanks for the alert. I consider that information as important as your prediction that Texas was going to beat LSU in the CWS.

Their loss. The last week and a half has had some fantastic games. Lots of story lines and excitement.

The game ended yesterday. SI came out today. Dont you think it happened kind of fast to already be on the cover?

I think they just realize that other covers will sell more mags. Unfortunately, college baseball comes in 6th out of 6 in the three majors (college and pro) to the general public.

I know that. Are you saying SI usually or even "sometimes" puts the winner as the cover story? Because they RARELY, if ever, do it.

First, that is probably the most botched spelling of baseball I've ever seen.

Cover??? I'd settle for two or three pages inside the mag...it's usually just a picture in the "Leading Off" section with two or three line caption.
