You have been doing accounting work, but are you a CPA? If so, have you beeinvolved in any business valuation projects? What has been and what will continue to be a very hot speciality in accounting is forensic accounting, which includes business valuation and many other disciplines. Most of the larger local/regional accounting firms have increased the size of their dispute resolution practices so think about it. I am a Big 4 audit manager and know about the industry.

I'm a senior accounting major right now hoping to get a Big 4 internship for the Spring of 2010. So would you suggest one get involved in Forensic Accounting? It is still considered "audit", correct?
