Poorer............
It's also rarely brought up because you be a fricking dumbass if you typed it. Chad Jones has played all over the field and made huge plays in critical situations.........He knocked the ball down against Florida in 07 when the clock hit zero.......He made the biggest play against Bama when that fumble popped out...........oh don't forget the punch that saved us 7 points at this year Bama game............
For a sophmore in a crowded Defensive backfield Chad Jones is right on track.

I'm not hating on TT. I believe there is a lot of factors out of his control the have contributed to his avg start to his career (Depth and QB play).
I'm just saying that maybe Mack Brown wasn't that high on him and that is why he didn't go after him when he found out it was going to be a NSD battle.
The more I think about his philosophy the more I like it especially due to his position of power in the state of TX (Sorry A&M, UT is not worried about the Farmers one bit). Build a very very solid group of recruits very earlier and concentrate on keeping them instead of over-extending yourself courting 5* NSD guys and possibly losing guys that were right under your nose.
