Half my family is in Little Rock and they are sure they can beat us.

My uncle jokingly called coleman superman and was thrilled when I told him Ranaudo is pitching.

How many K's does Ranaudo need to take the next step up in K's per pitching career at LSU?

Ranaudo

The only time he has a bad game is when he is wild and can't hit the strike zone. That is when he can be hit, but if he has control tomorrow it's a done deal.

I love how they act like Ranaudo isn't good when he is an all american with an ERA just above 3(was under three) and they think their Lefty ace, Kuechel(sp?), is a stud when his ERA is over 4. Thats not even mentioning how bad their hitting is.

yep.

That's pretty stupid if you ask me. Coleman has given up one run to Arkansas in something like 15 or 16 innings. Pitching Renaudo gives us a chance to get to Sunday, then who knows what can happen when a chance to play for a national championship is on the line.

Most of them don't follow college baseball outside of their beloved razorbacks. All they remember is that one game during the regular season when AR had one of his few bad games against them all because he was wild that night. Kid is going to be a 1st rounder next year most likely. Let them think what they want, it's just ignorance.

If you were Arkansas who would you rather face, the guy that has beaten you twice, once with a shutout (Coleman), the guy that beat you 4-3 in the regular season series clincher (Ross), or the guy that you tagged with 5 runs and ended up winning in dominating fasion 11-4 (Ranaudo)?

Obviously, but you can't think thats going to happen again. If you know anything about college baseball you would know AR is one of the top pitchers in the country. Very unlikely that shite happens again. Hes not some scrub like many of them think.

I understand this, but they act as if we are pitching off when Ranaudo is a top line pitcher. We just happen to have two aces.

Seriously, I was absolutely floored to see that a team in the CWS had multiple guys playing while hitting under .200. That's pathetic.

Thats not my point. If you read what they say, they act as if Ranaudo is some scrub. When Ranaudo is on he is better than coleman.

No, you're right. But it's a frying pan -> fire type of situation. The main advantage Coleman has is consistency. When Ranaudo is really on, he's unhittable. On the other hand, Coleman is never really off, it seems. He rarely has an outing like Ranaudo did in game one. So I'd be happy to face Ranaudo too but I'd also be hoping that he's wild or at least struggling with his control. Otherwise half of the at-bats could be K's. Careful what you wish for.
