We can't even sign 29 players, much less will we sign over 25.

So LSU is going to sign 28 guys?
I agree with you about Reed, Pryer, and Allen. It's probably too early to predict guys like Travis Dickson, Lache, Shaun Lewis, and Storm Johnson, but I would love to have all of those guys come on board.
If I had to guess, LSU will get 2 more RBs, 1 more WR, 1 more TE, 2 more DL (Pryer and Allen), 1 more LB, 1-2 OL, and 1-2 DBs. Probably 23 or 24 players total. I don't see where Bates will fit in though.

I don't see Haynes or Pryer in this class. Porter is being recruited as an OL.

Pryer definitely wants to come, and I think the coaching staff wants him as well. He can probably play DT or strongside DE, and I believe he will have three years of eligibility.
He's probably a 4-star by the time Rivals gets around to evaluating the JUCOs.

Like i said from the beginning of the year, i think we'll have a very solid top 10 class, probably in the 5-8 range imo..that is if we get the guys were supposed to in trovon and j.allen

I'm reading btw the lines on the Pryer articles that have come out recently, that he hasn't heard from LSU in months. He will have to prove himself this fall to Chavis, who isn't as keen on oversized DEs like Malveto was.
We still have too many SDEs just like the last few years IMO, so I don't see the need for Pryer. Clement, Chancey, Logan, Brockers, etc.
I'd personally rather offer that Juco DE from Rummel, as he looks like a real solid WDE prospect on that Youtube film. Him and Montgomery would be a good tagteam over there IMO, and let the four I mentioned fight it out no the other side.
And I'd like to see even 10 sec of film on him before I conclude that he is a 4*. He's got great size, but there's no evidence to this point that he's actually a good football player.

if we end up with trovon this will be one of the greatest wr classes of all time..possibly the best

Pretty good list, as of now, its looking like that will be our class. I also think we'll get a few decommits by signing day, so we'll sign 25-26.
I think some of this will depend on who commits first. For instance, if Reed commits first before Wright, then we won't take Wright's commit. But if its the other way around, they'll still take Reed's commit because hes a can't miss for the staff. Same thing with Haynes, if he commits first, I think Hurd is screwed.

i think the remainder of the coaches focus is going to be on running backs and lineman!
