A rice cooker is one of those items I wouldn't spend big bucks on. Who wants a 30 year old rice cooker for $200? I buy on the cheap for $20 and they last 10-12 years.
The one I have now is a Rival. I think I paid $15 for it at KMart 7 years ago. It works great. Will probably last another 3 years and then I'll throw it away.

According to the Raising Cane's Sign, the best Rice cooker in the world is Alex Box. May be a bit out of your price range though.
