What do you guys think of the mardi gras beads in Omaha? Personally, I don't care for it. We are more than those prurple and gold beads here in LA. Hell, we are LSU!!!!

Eh, it doesn't bother me. When people think of Louisiana they think of Mardi Gras beads, food, alcohol, and LSU. So to see a guy cooking jambalaya in an LSU shirt, wearing beads, and drinking a beer is OK with me.

And if you're smart you will bring an assortment of some of the other teams' colors to give to their fine female fans. I had some OU and OSU colors in my pocket just in case, but the occasion never came up.

I like them for LSU fans, but I get really angry when I see other teams wearing mardi gras beads in their colors!

i don't really like them outside of the state but
i agree with.
as long as you are not out there at the tailgate spot propositioning girls with your beads it would be ok.
more than likely someone will ask you for a bead though.

I guess that's kinda ok...just tired of seeing them at every event from Nascar races to lobster festivals in Maine.
