Saban's teams had a heck of a lot more difficulty when it came to Top 10 or Top 15 opponents
And Les' teams haven't.
LSU is yet to beat one of the better teams in hte SEC by more than seven points. I'd say that's having difficulty with good opponents.
Saban was also in the midst of the rebuilding process where they had to "learn how to win" again.
Miles inherited a program that was a year removed from a national title.
Bit of a difference there, ya think?

"LSU is yet to beat one of the better teams in hte SEC by more than seven points."

Fair enough, but he destroyed a top 10 Virginia Tech team, throttled BCS#1 Ohio State, and crushed a top 10 team in Miami. I believe Georgia Tech was also in the Top 15 when we played them.

Dumbest arguement ever. I will never understand the fake LSU fans that are still in love with Saban. Dude was ok, but Les has taken the program to a level Nick could only dream of.

If you are so in love with Saban and want to suck him off then go become a Bama fan. We don't want that dumb arse attitude around here. What does Les have to do for some of you morons to except him?

Ok I'm off my soap box now.

You know i get really sick of this argument, "Les hasn't beat the really good teams by a lot of points" It just doesn't make sense to me. If we beat florida by 40 points next year will we get more than 1 win in our win column? I think it only counts as 1. So why does it matter if we only beat a team by a few points? A win is still a win. And i will take a 1 point win is just as good as a 40 point win. Oh and we beat alabama by 2 touchdowns in 06 and we beat south carolina in 2007 by 12 but we were really up by way more than that, we just let them score late. My point is that a wins a win. Les miles has a great record against some of our biggest rivals.

By definition, the better teams in the SEC will not get blown out very often. And Les' teams have handled top OOC teams better than any LSU coach I can think of.

Attention little nicky knob slobber. It doesn't matter if you win by 1 point or 50, the W is still a W.
Learn to win? Funny the core of the NC team was made up of Dinardo players that had seen winning teams when they were recruited to LSU. It was only the last 2 years that Dinardo lost his composure and tried to run every aspect of the team. That got him run off and Saban inherited a nucleus of really good talent to, as you say "learn to win"

True but:

LSU 48, Virginia Tech 7

LSU 38, Ohio State 24

LSU 40, Miami 3

LSU 38, Georgia Tech 3
