I expect the Techsters to do well this year. I also expect it to be the last year of the Dooley regime if a big time opening comes up.

I've heard from an Auburn fan here that Dooley turned down an AU offer to be head coach, but that might be because of the "Lowder Factor".

Dooley may be biding his time, waiting and seeing if the UT, USC, or Clemson jobs become open in the next few years.

Mark my words, this is an ambitious SOB to watch. And he's a pretty good coach to boot.

Dooley might wait for a job that lets him be a A.D. as well as the Head Coach

Tech is playing Auburn at the perfect time while they are learning a new system and coaching staff

What would the point of that be? I usually eat crow anyway with my meals

These 3 guys should have a MMA-style battle royal for the starting nod.

Mark my words, LA Tech WILL NOT beat Auburn this year. It may be a competitive game, but they will not win.

Auburn-24
LA Tech-17

Auburn offered him a job, he declined because he claimed that he wanted to build something at La Tech.

He's waiting for Les to leave to take the LSU job.
