I don't blame AU, and I certainly think that the latest developments have to make their fanbase feel good about their chances. But it's very early. Both Auburn and LSU have favorable depth charts. The difference is that LSU will be good next year and Auburn will be horrible. Maybe they can surprise some people but they still don't have a quarterback and I think they're going to be bad.

what are they going to say? they had a shitty time and Gene wasted their time?
God bless, I don't get why people get so upset when a kid goes on what basically amounts to an all expenses paid vacation, gets the red carpet rolled out for him, gets fed, gets drunk, gets laid... how the frick would you not be smiling and have the time of your life?

We haven't even gotten to the all expenses paid trips. We're still in the no expenses paid category for now.

The only expense covered by the players is travel to the school, from my understanding.

I don't think that is accurate. But it would give in-state schools an even stronger advantage if true.

I know you have to shell out for your own housing as well.

Yeah, I was including that in the "getting to campus" expense.
I think they have restrictions on how lavish they can be with unofficial visits, but I think they get to feed them during the day and give them VIP treatment, then at night, they go to an "unsanctioned" party where the kid never has to pay for anything (kegscigsblowgirls).

All I know is..........Auburn needs to brush up on the rules for recruiting visits.
Posted on 6/2/09 at 12:09 pm to OldIowaTiger
It's on the list.
Things Auburn needs to brush up on
1- Winning
2- Hiring a coach with a winning record
3- Not talking shite to LSU fans about recruiting
4- Recruiting
5- Recruiting rules
6- Their teeth

I'll admit it, it was a corny joke, but I chuckled.

No, the students basically have to pay for everything, including travel, housing, all meals, etc. The school can drive the kid to the game if the stadium is close.

Thanks for clearing that up.
Sorry if I confused anyone.

Well i went to AU game last year and i know how much it cost me for two nights, food, travel etc.
i have a job, so i don't see how these kids can afford all these trips.

Has anyone else noticed that at the end of the video when Seastrunk says "wait till we get here" that the video has been edited and it skips to that statement? Just wondering if anyone else noticed.

Why is he calling out Coach Saban? What kind of recruit is he? He hasn't played one down of college football and he's calling out a coach. WTF!
If the article had been about him having a great time on his LSU visit (as opposed to Auburn), and saying the same thing...you'd probably be cumming on yourself.
I agree with the poster that said atleast he doesn't sound like he's going to Bama.

He really said this?
