Who is the best hitting coach in college that would be approachable for that role on LSU's team?

turtle would be a great hire.his only down fall was recruiting kids that couldnt get here because the draft.mainieri gets them here and turtle teaches them to hit.plus gets 1 or 2 to enroll after being drafted.turtle

Turtle is the most socially awkward human being, but is a damn good hitting coach. I really wish he was still here.

I think its safe to say at this point any decent hitting coach would be an improvement. It would be great to get Turtle back if its possible.

Me.

That's the book to start with. Williams was famous for saying that a batter does more to get themselves out than a pitcher ever can.

I can't believe this.

We are 48-16, SEC regular season AND tournament champs, on the verge of hosting a SR, and you guys want to replace the hitting coach. Unreal.

I swear to God, some of you people would bitch about a free lunch.

Turtle will never come back as the pressure of keeping the piccalo and flute players happy is too much!

No doubt this has been a great season, its just frustrating to see such a talented team look so bad against left handed pitching.13 out of 16 losses against leftys is just a little to obvious for opposing teams to take advantage of.So who is responsible for correcting this problem?

so our two best hitters (schimpf and dean) have horrible games last night and it's the hitting coach's fault? does he get credit for them being two of our best hitters during the season, or how does that work?
