Just my opinion but I think that rule is crap. I understand that rule in a tour. where all should be equal but if I am not mistaken LSU earned the right to host the tournament, so a small advantage like that is warranted.

I believe that rule was forgotten when they designed this stadium. That rule has always been there and they had to do the same thing over at old Box, the only thing was they had to let the other team use their home locker room and they used the visiting teams. I believe they need to add another locker room because of this rule if they want to continue to host regionals. That way they will not have to use the football locker room over at LSU Stadium. A team can not have a locker room advantage over another team in a regional. LSU did not want the other team in their home locker room so they let the visiting teams have the visiting team locker room and they went to the football locker room. The other altrnative is to replinish the old home locker room at the old box and use that one until they can add another team locker room. It will get used that is for sure. The umpires could use it during the regular season insted of having to dress in their Hotel rooms they could use that dressing room to change in.
